To mobilize local churches to transform lives of those in our community.

Love INC is a new ministry in the Hancock County area that helps the churches help satisfy the needs in the community.

Love In the Name of Christ is a proven outreach model or strategy that helps church volunteers help their neighbors.  It's one of the most effective management, mobilization, and networking tools available to churches today.  Using the Love INC model, local churches come together as a network.  It's a cooperative effort with agencies that make a lasting impact on individuals, families, and children living in poverty.

Private and government agencies provide many services today, but they by no means meet today's growing demand of needs.  Love INC's network of resources, skills, and volunteers helps close the gaps.  More disadvantaged individuals are rebuilding their lives while costing communities less, thanks to Love INC.There is an untapped army of volunteers in local churches who are ready, willing, and able to help and build relationships with those in need.  Love INC gives volunteers safe, manageable, and time-limited opportunities to put their Christian faith and love to work.

Love INC works by taking a "clearinghouse" approach.  All resources and calls for help are funneled through the local clearinghouse.  The requests are then screened and matched with the most appropriate resource (either a local agency or church) to help the person in need.

The result?  People make long-term changes to better their lives, in large part because someone shows they really care.Families moving off welfare, older citizens coping with illness or isolation, and teenage mothers caring for new babies are examples of those helped by congregations and communities through Love INC.
