Love INC of Greater Hancock County is looking for a special individual to fill Financial Ministry Director position to develop, lead and coordinate our Financial Ministry program. Financial Ministry is a key objective for the Love INC board and we are NOW accepting applications. The ministry will train Christian volunteers from many different churches to walk alongside people in need to help them overcome their financial challenges and move toward self-sufficiency. Skills training, mentoring, goal-setting, church and community resources and spiritual and emotional support are brought around individuals and families to provide a holistic approach to meeting their needs. The ministry creates accountability and is incentive-based. It is an actual hand up, not a hand out At this time, this position has limited compensation, but the rewards are eternal. Love INC of Greater Hancock County has existed for over 5 years as a Christ-centered ministry located in Greenfield, Indiana. It is a clearinghouse for both volunteers from local churches and for people in need. Someone in need contacts Love INC and office staff then works to match volunteers to help with that need. Our target population would be those individuals whose needs have been verified as legitimate and whose needs cannot be met through already existing community organizations. What is Love INC?

Love INC of Greater Hancock County is a phone clearinghouse whose purpose is to help people in need by working with area helping agencies and churches.

Participating churches have volunteers who have offered to donate their time and talents to help people who are struggling to meet the stresses of everyday life.

Love INC gathers information from the person in need, and from area helping agencies to determine the best possible source of help.  We will not duplicate a service that is already offered.

Love INC is here to help you to help yourself.  Church volunteers are ready to help you develop a plan, to make those tough choices, and to be there for you when you run into another ‘roadblock’.
